Today, after eight intense hours in the operating room, my wife and I were able to save a patient. It was a demanding moment, where every minute mattered. At times, the situation seemed uncertain, but an inner strength pushed us to keep going.
We worked side by side, just as we have since the beginning of our journey in medicine. A simple glance was enough to understand that we were united in this commitment — with our skills, our determination, and our faith in our mission.
When everything stabilized and we saw signs of improvement, we knew that every moment of effort had meaning. There is no greater reward than seeing hope return in a family’s eyes.
