It all began on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Jean-Michel (not his real name), a respected farmer in the region, saw his daily life turned upside down. One caravan, then ten, and finally about forty vehicles belonging to members of the traveling community invaded a concrete plot of land he rented for his farm.
The situation quickly became critical. Access was blocked, fences were locked by the occupants, and the farmer could no longer reach his own pastures to feed his livestock. He immediately tried to assert his rights by contacting the police and the town hall.
