Cookies & Cream Cheesecake Deep-Fried Oreos

Step 1: Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
Stir in the crushed cookies and cream cookies until evenly distributed.
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm it up.
Step 2: Assemble the Oreo Sandwiches
Remove one side of each Oreo cookie and set aside.
Take a spoonful of the chilled cheesecake filling and place it onto the flat side of an Oreo cookie.
Top with another Oreo cookie to form a sandwich, pressing gently to secure the filling.
Repeat with the remaining cookies and filling.
Step 3: Create the Batter
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually stir in the milk and beaten egg until you have a smooth batter.
Step 4: Fry the Oreos
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Dip each assembled Oreo sandwich into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Carefully lower the battered Oreos into the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried Oreos from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess grease.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy!
Let the deep-fried Oreos cool slightly before serving.
Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce for an extra touch of elegance.
