Consistently dry skin, even if you’re well hydrated, can reflect that your blood isn’t nourishing your skin well. Applying creams will not be enough if the root of the problem is not treated: circulation. Increasing the consumption of water, fresh food and physical activity can improve this symptom.
4. Swelling in the feet and ankles
The accumulation of fluids or blood due to lack of movement or high blood pressure can cause edema. Wearing comfortable shoes, elevating your feet when resting, and reducing salt in your diet are effective preventive measures.
5. Skin color changes
Bluish, pale or blotchy areas can be an alert. These alterations indicate that not enough oxygen is reaching the tissues. Gentle exercise such as daily walks can improve blood flow.
6. Memory and concentration problems
The brain needs a large supply of oxygen. Poor circulation affects cognitive performance. Sleeping well, reducing saturated fats and consuming foods rich in omega 3 are allies of the brain and circulatory system.
7. Dizziness and headaches
These symptoms may be related to poor blood supply to the brain. If they are accompanied by blurred vision, difficulty speaking or coordinating, you should go to the doctor immediately, as it could be a stroke.
