The recognition
And something happened. The animals of the forest looked up:
“Look at the crow,” said a fox.
“What a presence, what a free flight,” murmured a hare.
“It was always there… and we didn’t see it,” whispered a deer.
Because that’s how the world is: sometimes it only recognizes you when you decide to recognize yourself first.
From then on, the crow never flew like the dove again. He flew like a crow.
And the dove, every time she saw him fly by, smiled. She knew that both of them, despite their differences, were necessary. That there was no competition, only diversity.
